Need to pay a bill? Pick up an application for recycled water service or employment? Drop off construction plans for approval? All of these services and more are available at NapaSan’s Administration Building, which houses the Administration and Engineering Departments.
The Administration Building is located at 1515 Soscol Ferry Road, just south of the Southern Crossing on Highway 29. The new buildings incorporate many green features, such as roof orientation to take advantage of natural light, light colored roofs to reflect heat, and highly efficient, sensor-controlled fluorescent lights. The administration building is surrounded by water efficient landscaping and a recycled water demonstration and memorial garden honoring Dr. Arthur Hemphill (1923 to 2001). Other green features include outdoor permeable patio pavers and a high efficiency heating, ventilation, and air conditioning system.
Prior to construction of the new building, the Administration Building was located behind the South Napa Marketplace near the former site of the Imola Treatment Plant. Gradually, treatment processes at the Imola plant were replaced by upgraded facilities at the Soscol Water Recycling Facility. When all remaining treatment processes were moved to the SWRF, the Imola Treatment Plant was demolished. The former site of the Imola Treatment Plant is now part of the County’s flood control project for the Napa River.
