Homewood/Westwood Project Information

picket house Napa Sanitation District is looking identify homes that have basement/crawl space drain pumps connected to the sanitary sewer system.  These connections can add large amounts of water that inundates the sewer system, increases operations and maintenance costs, and can potentially lead to sanitary sewer overflows.  We need your help to determine whether or not your home has such a connection.  NSD will repair any of these connections at NO COST to you.  These repairs could include, but are not limited to: private sewer lateral rehabilitation and sump pump or roof leader disconnection from the sewer system.

To determine if repairs are needed, NSD must do a brief, non-invasive inspection of your property.  The inspection will only require access to your front yard, and will have no effect on your landscaping or other features on your property.  It is not necessary for you to be home during the inspection.  If any work is needed on your property, you will be notified and given a timeframe for when the repairs will occur as well as specific information about what the repairs will entail.

This is a first-come, first-served program. Homeowners who respond after November 1, 2016 may not receive financial help from NSD to complete the necessary work, and homeowners may be required to fund the repairs.

Please complete the Homeowner Agreement form that you received with your letter that allows NSD to preform the inspection, and if necessary, the repairs described above.

You can find a map of the project area here.  Only homes within the boundary on the project map are able to participate in this program.
